First of all I’d like to say thank you for your support by subscribing to Comfortably Hungry. I absolutely love what I do (and I hope you do too!) and I’m keen to reach as many people as possible. So to that end, it’s time for a bit of trumpet blowing. I have decided to put Comfortably Hungry up for the Food Podcast/Broadcast Award in

Hi Sam, the ones that stand out for me are all the chocolate pods as they slowly immersed me in its rich history, my favourite though was -
Whatever happened to Fry’s - fascinating facts about the history of British chocolate manufacture, Quaker business and nostalgic too, also as a ‘foodie’ archivist I loved the chocolate archivist insight;
Bleeding cows and black pudding - a great window on how our attitude to food has changed as we become more separate from its production, and fabulous facts on black pudding, all made better with two perspectives.
